So what are the network settings you have for the two xbox's? The settings need to be defined in whatever program you are using to ftp unless the readme for the program says it will use your dash settings. Basically you need one xbox to have an ip of something like 192.168.0.2 and the other 192.168.0.3.

Hi there,

I have had the same problem in the past and it was due to the version of evox I was running on the box that would be hosting as the server...

I take it your using X_Toolbox for your ftp transfers. For some reason toolbox just doesn't like the ftp server that evox have programmed in on their more recent dashboard releases, I found that rolling back to a previous version of evox (I think I used the one on the Slayers v 2.3 disk) solved the problem.

Well my mates xbox is a 1.5 and he is using the latest slayers which was 2.6. I also installed off the same slayers disc off him but my xbox is only a 1.3? Perhaps these networking capabilities are different. I might try rolling back to a different evox version then. I wont have to totally reinstall slayers will i? just overwrite my evox with an older version.

Also i tried the new dvd 2 xbox for ftp. Still no connection.

post the network section of the evox.ini's you are using and describe how you are trying to get them to "network".

Yup, there was a problem with particular version of Evo-X itself.

Make sure you are using 3935 on both Xboxes.

BTW: Does Slayer have a 2.6 disk?

I though he was only up to 2.5. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
