hey all
i have just bought a replacement mobo but without a harddrive and i was wondering if i could prepare and add a 120 gig hdd to it, do i still need a code or will the XboxHDPrepare utility sort this out for me can someone pls tell me that i didnt just waste 30 quid??? oh im aware that i need backups of c:\ + e:\ drives will my other xboxs backups work ok or are they in some way different any help appriciated smile.gif

If by code you mean a hard drive code, your motherboard will supply that. As far as I know the backups from another box will work. Although it might depend on the kernal number in relation to which MS dash version you use.
