How do I install this emu (goldeneye.nes) - do I put it in with Surreal? Do I need to change the file so it can be read? Any suggestions would greatly help! Thanks in advance.........

.nes = Nes game

erm........ goldeneye.nes i have no idea what that is.... but it's not an emu.

I assume you want to play the game goldeneye on the surreal emulator, first .nes is not a valid extension, is it the right thing named incorrectly or the wrong thing, verify this using good n64 (look at the sticky topics on this forum)

If it is the right thing, bung it in surreals Roms directory and you should be good to go... (you can rename the extension just to be neat, but surreal will work even if you dont)

If its not the right Rom then you need to find/buy it.

There are several versions of this Rom and the only one that works in surreal is the 12Mb one, not the 16Mb one.

- Shorty

P.S - Even if you do get it working this rom does not work too well in this release of surreal because the controls are far too sensitive.

EDIT: Vamp X beat me to it

awww, how could you consider goldeneye to be crappy? blink.gif

that was one of my favorite bond movies of all time... it even had my favorite actor Sean Bean in it (lotr, patriot games, equalibrium)

yeah I would agree Goldeneye was the best Bond movie.

I mean cmon, if it was so bad why would they keep using Pierce Brosnan as 007?

haha, you forgot about 'moonraker'
that one sucked it big time laugh.gif

yeah that one was kinda strange... the bad guy "Witaker" in that movie dies only to reappear just two movies later as Jack Wade, bond's CIA contact tongue.gif
