I tried to fix it through ftp,but i cant restore the orignal dashboard, i know i did somethin with when i deleted all of mad goki's files from my xbox, now the damn thing just keeps rebooting. If anybody can tell me if i can restore thanks , if not ill just trash it!

hahaha...

If your planning to throw out your Xbox over a little thing like that, I'll buy it wink.gif..

But anyway, your only way out is hotswap unless you backed up your hdd password in which case your could use Xboxhdm to do everything (much easier). Do you even have a Xbox with a chip in it?

booker,
put a audio cd in drive and turn it on let it keep rebooting and go do somethin else. come back in like 10 minutes. worked for me, same problem as you have.

It doesn't work for everyone, like myself. Depends on your Xbox version and stuff. If you haven't tried the 6 or 7 simple ways to fix it, you should try it. Here's the link to save you some time from searching.
