Hi.. my xbox shuts down automatically when i turn it on. ? idea ?..
probably the powersupply... or a Bad chip ?.
If the powersupply need to change.. why the xbox boot... for a couple of second. (-1-2 seconde)

check for a short on the front pcb or the area where it plugs into the motherboard. maybe a solder splash?

That happened to me.... I think "solder splash" was the right term that he used ^

Are you in the middle of installing your chip? I know it took me a couple times to get it right, and after one attempt the same thing happened to me. Make sure the d-0 point's good.
