Yeah I know I'm not supposed to ask about the location of mame roms, what I want to know is are all mame roms the same or does mameox have "special" roms or can I use the ones I already have on my computer?

that doesnt even apply here because the goddamn search is almost always down. I come at 3:30 in the morning to see that it is still "peak hours"

Xbox MAME is an older build of the MAME source code and some romsets
have been shuffled around since the latest releases of MAME for pc.

so there's a big chance you wont be able to run all the roms that you have,
get the dat file for your MAME xbox version and use that to verify your roms
with ClrMamePro.
