OK i have installed a new HD in my XBOX, and it is connected to my PC using a direct connection. The problem i have is i am not allowed to upload anything to my xbox at all, i keep getting the "553" code in FlashXP, i don't have any idea what is going on, because i can ftp stuff to the PC from my BOX, but not to it? any help would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

I did, i used the evo-x HD format and the thing is formatted, but i jsut can't write to it, on my FTP it shows the folders all ready to be used, i just can't upload anything from my PC. what is wrong with my HDD

I just re-formatted the HD and still i can't get it to upload from the PC, downloads only, and im using a crossover cable...this is ridiculous, i know im connected to the XBOX and i can see the folders but i can't upload any information back to the C, E drives or any drive for that matter, anyone ever encountered this problem. Any have an ideaas to what is preventing the uploads

try using the cd method, where u have a /CDrive/ folder and stuff

u mean to burn the c folder to a cd then install it through evox, box xplorer ? is that what u mean?
