just so people dont get confused. On a 1.2 - 1.5 you only joint the two points shown on the FRONT (or top) of the Mobo. I think this is what the poster said, but when i read it, I had to second guess. I think he meant front as in the front of the case where the power button is, and back where the fan is.

Congrats on the super pics they rock!!!!

I seen some other guides that shown bottom points on 1.2/1.3 and 1.2-1.5

Seein as how I only need top points I should pop open my 1.3(?) box and bridge those points

Btw , what BIOs is best to use? I know there's like X2 (Just get latest?) and EvoX (M7 or M8?) , and is EvoX good at flashin the TSOP?

And what I do if it doesnt flash right unsure.gif

I have modded a few 1.0's and 1.1's and I have never needed to add the little wire on the bottom from the lpc to a joint. I just solder the spot on the top and I solder the two joints beside the screw but the wire. I have never used and I mine have been working like a charm. What's the purpose of the wire? Anyway Later

That wire is only necessary for people with SHARP TSOPs. The SHARP TSOP requires more power to be erased and flashed.

I am currently running a softmod and evox dash,
but am thinking about doing a tsop flash. The xbox
has never been opened, but from various readings
I believe it is a v1.0 (bought it used).

I'm currently in the planning stages, but before I open
the thing I was wondering if there was any handy utility
I could run that would tell me what type of flash I had -
in particular, if it was a Sharp TSOP or not.

Thanks!
