That looks pretty cool. I especially like the l\0 buttons on the back. Only thing I would change is the color of the cc tube, but finding one that looks good through green is tricky.

Hey Savejonas,
Thanks for the remarks on the switches, it was pretty hard to find places for (4) cold cathodes in there. The switches seemed logical to be placed there.
You were saying about the CC in the green case. Are you refering to the one under the jewel? That is a UV reactive CC and we had wanted originally a green one which would have lite almost the entire top of the case green, but when I went to order the part they were out., so we went with UV to make the cables glow a bit... We are thinking of maybe changing it to a green one if we find a cheaper one in stock again soon..

Thanks Everyone,
Well the modchip was an idea I had for my own but never had a chance to do. So I figured his was a great chance to do it. It takes some time and patience to desolder the onboard LED, then you must carefullt solder the wires to the controller board. As long as you take time and becareful it turns out quite nice. I used solid wires only so I could bend the wires and have them keep their form. If you look on the web link I gave in the in the last line of the post you can see the entire process. I have a few other plans along this line as well for my nex mod.
The jewel was attached simply by cuttign a 2 1/2" hole using a hole saw cutting extremely carefull. Once this hole is cut it creates an interference fit and the jewel will fit nice and snug. Very good design really...
