Has anybody else noticed that Splinter Cell appears to use the last controller plugged into the system?

I've tried a backup and the original, and I've had a few mates try it. If there's three controllers plugged in then it will use controller #3, if there's two plugged in then it will use #2 etc.

I've looked around a bit here and on google for any mention of this but haven't seen any.

No big issue, I don't care, just find it weird.

are you running a PAL or NTSC system..not dat it would make a difference...but it might...i dunno...never tried pluggin more than one of my controllers in at the same time...i am really scared about screwing up my xbox (for the third time) so now i dont even plug more than one controller in to a one player game
