Hey,
I've searched the board and found out that the problem I am having may be due to a bad power supply. uhh.gif

Here are my symptoms:
1. Xbox starts up without any animation
2. It suddenly turns off
3. It starts up again with any animation
4. It turns off again
5. Finally, it starts up again with a blank screen, no animation, and the front LED is flashing.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Can I replace a fuse? Is it definately the power supply that is causing all my problems?

I have a Matrix modchip and I realigned it and I still get the same problem, I have a WD 120gb HD as well. My Xbox has been working fine, I have not adjusted any settings, I just turned it on today and had this problem.

Thanks.
Maurz

does it do the same with the chip turned off/removed?

im assuming the eject led is flashing red and green, since thats what it usually does after 2x restar.

usually this has something to do with a bad bios or poor connection to the LPC and/or d0, not the power supply. if your fuse was bad you wouldnt get any power.

what if the led blinks green 1 time for a split second as soon as the eject(or power button i think) is pressed, and the same thing happens every time it's pressed.
