I was thinking - instead of all these stupid netski, sasser, gaobot virus carrying useless payloads, it hooked up to a rented server out in malaysia somewhere to download a small (very small) XBOX RSA factoring client, and just chug along in the background. It would still spread like a virus, but it would be doing something useful....now I'm SURE micropsoft would offer a $500,000 bounty for the head of the programmer that did that, but still, it'd be cool cause you'd get a HUGE number of participants.

It's dishonest, but as long as we're passing viruses and exploiting windows machines, what do you guys think? Personally I'd love to see the damn RSA cracked.
