I just picked up my fist Xbox today, a Special Edition Halo Xbox. I havn't opened it up yet, but the manufacturing date is April of this year so I'm assuming it's a v1.6. After looking at a couple of reviews, I think I'm going to upgrade it with a Xenium Ice. My questions revolve mostly around capabilities of the Xenium Mod Chip and the software that comes installed.

How many different BIOSs can the chip hold? I am interrested in running my XBox as both for gaming, the usual modded purposes, and to play around with XBox Linux.

What capabilities does the Xenium OS add to the XBox? I am mainly interrested in upgrading my HD. I'd like to be able to back up my games. Finally, I'd like to be able to use 3d party applications like XBox Media Player.

Is the Xenium capable of allowing me to do all this? I know that I will probably have to get another BIOS to handle most of the functionality I'm looking for. If anybody could make any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
