I recently got a few LEDs to change the leds around the eject button. I just need a tutorial on how to do this. I have checked the tutorials on the scene and havent been able to find what I am looking for. I got blue/white to change the green/red. The description said that I didnt need any resistors or anything and they should work fine with some very beginning soldering skills. It was sposed to come with "a very detailed guide on how to install" but it obviously didnt.

PS. please dont tell me to use search because its down 24/7.

I think I got lucky because I found a pair of blue/white bi-color leds on ebay for 7$ and they are both 3mm too.

Thats shipping and handling too which was like 4 of it. I just installed it and I think i had sumtin backwards because it was booting white when I wanted blue so I just edited the bios to boot red and now it wrx fine. In fact, I like it so much, I wanna change the switch to my 2.3b lite chip's led. I dont know too much about this electrical stuff but can I use the same type of LEDs on it?
