I am transferring emulators over to my xbox. I am wondering if i need the bios folder. Almost all of the emulators have a bios folder, but i dont know what it is used for.

Yeah, you need that stuff. If it was included in the compressed file you downloaded then send it all to the XBOX.

yes you do.
it contains the bios for whatever system you are running.

bios n. - The set of routines stored in read-only memory that enable a computer to start the operating system and to communicate with the various devices in the system, such as disk drives, keyboard, monitor, printer, and communications ports.
