ok .........i have had some real problems on installing my 250 gig harddrive....

i use to have a 40 gig harddrive...i have xenium....mod chip .and i have evo x on my 40 gig harddrive ..............i allready backed up my files from my 40 to the pc.....what do i need 2 do next....and how do i partition it so i can have almost all the 250 gigs in the f drive ...i heard it only lets you do 137 but you have 2 partition it..... i need the easy way of doing this please....please explain....alot ..im a newb lol

1. need to burn evoxnewhdd to a cdrw or burn slayer.
2. need a bios that supports the 137+ limit, i would suggest the x2 bios (you want the .67)

make sure your xenium is flashed with an LBA-48 compatible bios (newer x2 bios have this)

for a 250 i would suggest putting everything on F (x2 bios ending on .06)


then you just need to format it (i think xenium OS supports formatting, or you can use a slayers installer) and FTP everthing from your 40 over to it

no, the .67 bios is for partitions 6 + 7 (f and G) hence the naming convention..???

you need the .06 bios, it will make one big F drive....

please don't give out false info!!! you'll confuse the poor newb!!! ohmy.gif
