How do I patch my BIOS.BIN (x2 or EvoX M8) to support my 250gb HD. Right now, it's only detecting 200 gb.

EvoX M8 can be patched with EVTool and the X2 bios (up to version 4981) can be patched with XBTool.
However, if you are seeing 200gb then you already have large HD support (137gb is the largest without the patch). You can load your bios into the programs linked below to check/change their LBA48 support. http://home.alltel.net/nghtshd/xbtool.html http://home.alltel.net/nghtshd/evtool.html This post has been edited by Strud1512: Jul 29 2004, 02:21 AM |
