this has probably been answered already, but il try to get an answer

i backed up spiderman 2 to disk- didnt work, backed up to hdd and worked,
chipped a friends xbox with same bios as mine(latest xecuter) also tried m8
sp2 worked on his off the disc- why
manhunt wont work off the disc on mine- ive just tried to rip it with dvd2xbox but it wouldnt copy the default.xbe

should i rip the original with dvd2xbox, then ftp and make the image and burn?

what is the most succsessful way

1.1v xbox
m8 bios
stock hdd

Well you have one of the first xbox's maybe it is the drive i have a samsung in mine and have had no problems with any disc.What kind of drive do you have?What kind of disc media are you using?All this can make a big difference in what works and what does not work.

Xbox's do look alike, but are definately no alike... different dvd drives like different media. Heck i've seen 2 of the same drives not like the same damn media.

it is a v1.1 with samsung and im using datawrite yellows

all my other games work off discs so after work today il get the latest media flag remover and try that

in the mean time anyone with the same setup have a problem with these titles?
