Now i've been searching threw all "Which bios should i use?"-threads, and still i'm not clear on this one.

Do all bios work on all chips or do some modchips only run with ex. M7? (if the size of the bios matches, that is).

the chip pretty much just serves as a bios carrier as its most basic function.. except for X3 bios, all bioses work on any chip, given that they fit space-wise.
