Ok so I moved the .bin file straight over to my xbox and sonic plays great, except there is no soundtrack (the sound effects are still there). When I tried to make an iso of the bin and cue the end result was an iso about double the size of the original .bin file and 20 or so audio files that all play static.

Is there a special way or program I should be using in order to make the iso?

Worked fine on my Mega-CD, works fine on my Xbox.........
I haven't used any Genesis emus for a while, but I use bin/cue files for the main prog, and extracted MP3s for the soundtrack. As long as you are careful with the MP3 names and file structure, everything works fine - there are many threads detailing this, have a look around.

HTH....

my version works perfectly. Both the cd itself, and my iso. I don't have my xbox with me, but i think my setup is, each audio track is an mp3 file, and the main game file is an iso. and everything has to be named the same. every sega cd game i've ripped plays flawlessly.

make sure you have the mp3's names matching the iso's and the mp3's start as 02 since the iso is 01.

ex:
sonic_cd.iso
sonic_cd02.mp3
sonic_cd03.mp3
sonic_cd04.mp3

Do we need to unpack the archive? Is that why mine isn't working?
