Ok here it goes. im going to wire leds under the front vent. i plan on putting a switch in the back also. im just a little confused about teh wiring. i know the positive side of the leds are wired on the red wire n the negative on the black wire. then the red wire from the leds and the molex connecter goes to the switch. and the black wire from the leds goes to the molex connecter. heres my question

should i connect a resistor to the wire from the leds going to the switch. or should i connect a resistor to each led. i have 5mm leds n i dont think theres going to be enough room. what the right way. and whats the easy way.

hopefully i'm understanding your question correctly...

As long as there's a resistor between the +5v source and the pos leg of the LED there wont be a problem, it does't matter if the resistor is directly or indirectly (through a wire) connected to the resistor.

i guess i was a little confusing explaining it. just think of it as wiring a jewel but with a switch. should i connect the resistor to the switch and the positive wire from teh leds.

I have underglow with a switch. I just wired up the LEDs parallel, so I only used one resistor. It doesn't matter if the resistor is before or after the switch. You can solder a resistor to each seperate LED, but it'll be harder to do.
