I have a Halo Edition Xbox and am trying to put Linux on it. Has anybody tried this much less know if it can be done? I looked for info on putting Linux on new Xboxes but couldnt find any. Any help woud be nice.

The halo edition xbox is just an xbox, once it is freed with a mod you should be off to the races.

Ok cool. The Halo Edition dont allow tunneling unlike the older Xboxes. I was trying the Mechinstaller method and was told that it most likely would not work and was recommended to purchase another older Xbox. Thanks for the help.

you can use tunneling in any xbox.....maybe YOU just don't know how to use it.
