I have a V1.1 XBox + Cheapmod with Executer 2 4974 BIOS. The box is currently PAL (as i'm in the UK) but I want to be able to switch it too NTSC, as I am told this should fix a problem i've been having with video on games.

Question is, whats the best tool to use to switch the Xbox between PAL/NTSC?

I have the Enigmah-X Video Select tool, but I am not sure if this is ok to use on V1.1 Xboxs.

Hope someone can help!

Ok thanks for the help but due to my amazing lack of patients i've already installed Enigmah-X Video Selector and it is working fine.

i have a v1.0+matrix, same Xecuter BIOS...
i'm on the beach right now and my xbox (dont ask why i brought my xbox to the beach hehehe) works fine..
but the TV set here is PAL and my xbox is NTSC..
i got the enigma video switch ISO.. i unpacked the iso, but i dont have a DVD burner here... i'm a bit scared of using it.. does it modify my eprom or something i shouldnt touch ? or
is it reaaaaaaally safe to use it ?
plz help.. playing xbox games in B&W is such a pain >:(((

i just want to know if its safe...

Well it worked fine for me. I was also worried of the conseqences of changing the eeprom, but i've been switching back and forward and nothing has gone wrong.

I'm not sure it will solve your problem tho because and I think it will still be in black and white because the TV doesn't support PAL at all.

Your on the beach and the TV is PAL?? Are you in WALES?!!?
