But i really would like this to work.

I know i have to manually transfer the Splinter cell files over to my USB stick like the guide says BUT i simlpy do not understand this :
2.2: Use an existing save that came with the AR software and copy the datelinfo.xbx file into the first file directory in both of the saves. If you installed the AR software into it's default directoy, go to "C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay XBOX\Saves" (without the quotes).

In my folder of Action replay there is No saved files only this one callede : pcdatabase

The save doesn't come with the software if you open AR and look on the left there will be somthing called power saves I think there will be a 007 save and somthing else download one of them.

Hi. A mostly fantastic guide but i'm having trouble with the drivers section. Having found USB medium that the xbox recognizes, I have been unable to make Windows 'update' the drivers so as to make it run as an action replay. On selecting the action 'ActionReplay Xbox' folder and the appropriately edited .ini file, the PC concludes that no software suitable for my device is available. What can I do? Having tried this with two cameras and a memory stick, i doubt it's the usb stuff here, but some more sinister apparatus within windows to be overcome.

You have to take the route threw the control panel and hardware section to the hardware list and from there change the drivers or you didn't chang the ini file with usb view. If you haven't changed the ini file there is info on this site some where.

Im trying to get my action replay to work its version 1.41 and i have the cord the memory card but when I want to start it up i look at the grashish lookin icon and it says usb device failed to enumerate when i tried updated the driver it blinked to green and then it went back to it wont enumerate

Hi, I need some help on this guide. I'm sorry if this has already been answered before, but I get stuck on step 1.4 where you have to install an AR driver for the USB drive. I only get MaxDrive XBox as an option, and I have to browse to do so. I'm not sure if that's the same thing or what - I'm new to this. I'm using a SanDisk 1.0GB Crusier Micro and have also tried a 512 MB version of the micro and a 512 SanDisk SD card. Help would be appreciated.

I tried a cheap 128mb mp3 player first, tried to format it to fatx using my xbox and usb female to xpad male adapter and that was succesful until i unplaged the player and its fimware reformated the mem. then I used dtek 1 gb sd card but the dashboard started flashing and the xbox didnt recognise it. I bought a 128mb twinmos M1 mobile disk and the xbox gives me the "there is something wrong with your mem card" message but wont format and thus wont recognise the stick. I was wondering if there is any way to format the stick to fatx using a pc.
If anyone has any advice on this their help will be much appreciated plus they will be saving my son's poor father from insanity.

Maybe using the usb device that I formatted for the regular xbox on the 360?

I have a creative MuVo 7x FM and my xbox formatted it but the action replay don't recognize it... i followed the tuto but it didn't work...

BTW when i try to update the driver i can't find the XBOX stuff (only a USB mass storage...)

hey for anyone that doesnt get AR software compatable with your memory device..(i used my camera with a flash card..) you can try to use Mega X key with the Hacked version along with that driver it comes with installed...its called MXK bxbx ....

anyway thats what worked for me, b/c action replay didnt with my memory device.

noob alert and sorry if this has benn answered before.

After several hours following the tut I have mamage to get the splinter cell saves onto my usb drive YAY

BUT as soonas it's plugged into the xbox it wipes it BOOOO

I have a 1.6 xbox *but seen on plenty of places that you now apparently can softmod it* and kinda lost on what to do next ???
