i installed the xenium ice solderless about a week ago, but decided i did not like it and i uninstalled it (i am getting a new modchip later).
my newly un-modded xbox was working like normal but then yesterday all of a sudden when i turn it on i get the 'error code 16' (dashboard doesnt load). it does the same thing, with or without a disc in.
why would it do this all of a sudden after 4 days of playing perfectly? did something come loose?
PLEASE HELP

Anyway, was the xbox disconnected from the power before the error? Had you made any changes to the HD contents when the chip was installed?

The clock became unset, and there are problems with the supplementary files needed to load the clock setting module.. Either reinstall your modchip, or find a way to replace your hdd with backup contents to be able to fix it.

ok, i reinstalled the modchip, and i can get the xenium dashboard to boot normally, but i can't play any games. when i go to the launch menu, and try to add the retail kernal so i can play games, i get the kernal panic! message.
this happens when i go to disk tools also.
PLEASE HELP?!!!

It sounds like you modified something like your dashboard and now when you turn it on without a game in it tries to load Evox or whatever your dash is now and it panics cause its unsigned.

You do realize you can't just put the dashboard files on and then take the chip out right?
