360 version: v1 (xenon)
i'm playing mario kart on snes9 on evox but everything is going much faster than it should be (i've played it on my computer). is there a way to make the frame rate go slower? I know how to do it on the pc but you have to use the keyboard it's not in the menu.

Get a different version of the ROM..

if you're in North America make sure you have a US rom..

Europe, get a European rom.. etc. etc. etc.

This should fix it.

Or, you could try turning off auto frameskip if you have the latest version of xsnes9x, but then the game is going too slow.. With the auto f. on the game goes too fast, and is a bit choppy too... Anyone had this solved-???

Why would anyone want to do that? Super Mario Kart is the original game that started it all. It has better gameplay in battle mode. Mario Kart 64 and Super Circuit dumbed down the battle mode. Any idiot can get a triple hit combo because you can pick up items consisting of 3 shells. Also the items respawn very quickly. In the original Super Mario Kart, it took skill to land a triple hit combo. Super Mario Kart's only drawback is its graphics and sound are dated. However, that doesn't stop the game from being fun.
