Ux Reboot Problem Options

Hey guys, this question may not be UX related but thats the dash im using and thought id ask here anyway. Ive got an aladdin advance chip and i have to hold the power button on for a sec to boot the chip, and im wondering if theres anyway to reboot the box without having to hold the button in (Getting lazier by the day),
just to make thing that much better. i have already thought about installing a power button in the controler but im unable to at the moment, I'm wondering if one of the reboot.xbe's from the usual place will do the trick? Please, feel free to add ur 2 cents worth??

another ideah i have is a way to soft mod the original dash so i can just reboot and still have a modified dash with the same access i have to all my stuff from the UX dash i have now?

I've probably misunderstood you, but will one of these items in your menu (config.xml) do the trick?
