THIS IS NEW LESS BUGGY VERSION OF HDD_DRIVER! I fixed it up myself using winhex. It works with V1.0 xboxs, and that stupid error message "Invailid Filesize!" doesn't pop up! comes with all the required DLL files too!

HDD driver allows you to view and modify the files on ur hard drive, Its really buggy, or at least last time i tried it, havent touched it since the update. I prefer ldots hdm, ( your Genius ldots!) it save my box from extinction!

Haven't had a chance to give it a shot yet, but this is exactly the type of thing I love to see in this forum, progress Although xboxhdm is by far the best hd util to date, it is kind of nice to have a windows app every now and then, if it works hehe. Congrats blakemonf!

thanx guys i used winhex to try and edit some of the code and it worked!
Well I'm always happy to try new things, so I have a backup from HDD_DRIVER. I'll give it a go and report back.
HDD_DRIVER corrupted my HDD last time I used it but the backup/restore function works great. I think thats was the only bit of software about at the time.

Yeah I think xboxhdm is still recommended since it accesses the hard drive in a real way, not a special program running on top of the sometimes troublesome Windows.

Eh nothing special... no offense, the only thing is the message that says Invalid Filename repeatedly is removed. And you could still back up your harddrive with that message before...

Maybe because it still sees the files as "invalid", so it can't display them, but the error msg has been removed? Not being sarcastic, just considering that as a possibility.
