I am currently on the 2 month trial for live, but the lack of headset really sucks. I was thinking of going to get the starter pack so I can get a headset. Question is - after the 2 month trial runs out what will I do? Will I just enter in a new code from the starter pack? And since buying the starter pack effectively pays for 12months in advance - if I get banned can I get a pro-rata refund? Thanks

Yes you can just enter the new 12 month code.
No you can't get a refund if you got banned. But it isn't the account that gets banned only the eeprom.
