i have tried burning mpeg and avi to a cd-r for my thompson with no luck. i am guessing it is the cd-r that is the problem, but i want to make sure of if/what formats xbox will play before i go and buy any cd+/- rw.
i have yet to mod my xbox ($), so no XBMC nor do i have a dvd burner (again, $) |

You might need to try to do a search on compatible cd-r media for different xbox drives. I know my samsung plays cd-rs fine. From what I understand, Thompson and Phillip drives are pretty pickey. Good luck. This post has been edited by shootn3zzintulsa: Aug 31 2004, 04:20 AM |
