I haven't got a DVD burner yet but I'm on the market...

I've installed the very cool Slayer's EvoX 2.0 and have ripped some games to my hard drive.
Now the question I have is can I then just FTP these files straight from the XBox Hard Drive over to my PC, then create an ISO and copy out to DVD when I get my burner? or during the rip process does it modify the loading files from dvd to hard drive?

my guess is that I shouldn't have any problem doing this, if someone could help... please.
