Hello. I just recently modded my Xbox using an exploit and couldn't be happier with how it runs now! However, I'm running into major problems linking the Xbox Dashboard to my Evolution X dashboard.
After hex editing my xboxdash.xbe file and finding two "78 00 74 00 66" values and changing them to find the renamed original font files. But once I restarted it, I got an error #13 on my Xbox. Luckly, I was able to revert the changes with xboxhdm (god I love that program!). Then I tried the XTF2XFT patcher (the orignal font files were renamed with a xft extension), but got the same error when I rebooted. Once again, xboxhdm saved the day for me. Now I'm back to using the Evolution X dashboard but just commented out the "MS Dashboard" command in my evox.ini file. However, I do want to link these dashboards together. Any thoughts? Anything would be helpful, thanks! Some possibly important specs: *Xbox v1.0 *MS Dashboard version 4034 *Kernel version 4034 (according to dash before mod) or 4977 (what Evox says) *Evolution X Dashboard build 3921 *No mod chip *Original bios (no TSOP, just the bios that came with the Xbox) |

What type of exploit did you use? Have you tried signing your dashboards xbe?

I used the Big Fonts (7-25 I belive) exploit in order to mod it and I did sign the xboxdash.xbe file with xbedump with the font switch
.
