i am going to change my hard drive, and i was wondering, if i didnt want to keep my data on the hard drive, wouldi still have to back it up on the PC, i ask this because i am just going to redo it and sort it out so i can store my backups properly and save up on space, so if anyone can help me please do.

If you dont care about gamesaves or soundtracks saved on E:, and you have an AutoInstaller CD like Slayers 2.6 that contains the MS system files, you don't need a backup of your current HD.

You can use a bootable EvoX CD with the Format commands setup in EvoX.ini or you could use raw FTP commands sent from your PC FTP client.
Remember that you would also need a backup of your C: partition to restore the MS system files (if not using Slayers for example that includes them).
