Soo... is it just me, or is it not standard practice for manufacturers to have product information on their websites? If so, then what is up with Xecuter??
I understand there is a time crunch for X3 and all resources have been dedicated to getting this out for the masses. This I understand. I also understand that a consumer, who goes to a manufacturers website, expects to find information on the products offered. Oftentimes, if the info isn't there, it's time to move on to the next manufacturer (at least for me). This causes missed sales.
So, my gripe is... if you happen on over to
http://www.teamxecuter.com you find lots of news about what is going on with the chips, you find forums where they are discussed, but there is no official detail sheet on the products. Granted, there is a nice writeup by the team in one of the forum stickys as far as the features being offered by X3.
What about X2.6?! I failed to find anything. I'm not saying it's info that can't be found by scouring forums (though, on a very preliminary search I didn't find much info other than other people asking what it offered)... but what I am saying is that the manufacturer owes it to its consumers to have product information on their site. It'd be REALLY nice to have a side-by-side comparison of features of the X2.3/X2.6/X3. I'm not even asking for a side-by-side though... just a page for each, detailing what they offer. if the response is, this information is forthcoming once they are released, that seems like backwards logic. You want to show the public what you will have to offer (even if it changes between now and then) to set expectations.
Doesn't seem like to much to ask.
My apologies for the gripe here, but I didn't see contact information for the Xecuter gang on their website.
That said, can someone fill me in on the X2.6?
Thanks!
