Hi!

Currently my cheapmod is flashed with M7 bios.
I would like to flash my mod with M8 bios.
Is it possible to flash my cheapmod within EvoX? uhh.gif

Yes, but EvoX is notorious for hanging while flashing cheapmods.

Better to use "Xflash for SST 49LF020 v2".

Yeah I just want to second this also.


I would HIGHLY reccomend getting this app and NOT using evox.

too many times I have been lazy and ended up having to swap my chapmod for another (I have a few lying about) just to get the bloody thing working again because of Evox hanging.

so its NOT even worth using evox to flash a cheapmod at all IMO get SST flash.

This also applies to other chips which use the SST49LF020, like the Matrix and Aladdin Advance.
