neogeo rom can play in PC , but not

I ftped to NEOGEO emulator to xbox , FBAxxx20040901 and kawax .
both have the same problem :
emulator runs , sees roms and load it,
after check the rom , it said rom error .
These roms are good under PC neorage emulator .

NeoRage = OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD

i'll explain, NeoRage is a very outdated emulator that uses now very outdated NeoGeo romsets.

so when using Fba-XXX you'll have to convert your roms to be compatible with the changed romsets.


you can use either romcenter or Clrmamepro for that task.

yes , NeoRage is old .
but it works for me for the last 4years on PC .
I downloaded the new finalburn for PC , it cannot play mr roms .
Did rom change or something else ?

Alot of ROMS were dumped incorrectly and had to be redumped.

In several cases it was just duplicate data. There are utilities that can fix most of them.

That is about all I remember cause I have not messed with neogeo emulation, well, in like 4 years. laugh.gif

Meaning that it works doesnt mean that it works okay.


Delete that outdated piece of crap called NeoRage and update your romsets with clrmamepro and romcenter.

then you can use either the windows versions of kawaks, nebula, fba, or just stick to Fba-XXX on xbox.


do not use Kawax on xbox though, its also very outdated.


And dont forget to get the new NeoGeo.zip bios, apparantly much has changed since 4 years ago.
