Hey,

I just got my DuoX (no, not duox2, the regular duox) today. I did not get a pin header and im using a v1.0 xbox, so I decided to install it using all wires. I have all the wires soldered onto the chip, but now im stuck on the whole "d0" thing. Where do I solder this onto? Is there an "easier" spot? Im a soldering newbie, but so far it seems good. If I can do this without taking the motherboard out, that would make life alot easier.

So, where do I solder the D0 point? uhh.gif

top d0 is very small, there's a 3x as large point at the bottom, but you have to take out the MB for that.

Its worth taking out the extra screws to do it if you ain't sure about the top D0 cos it is way bigger.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but can someone tell me where this alt D0 point is? Oddly I would think people would prefer this alt point to the via since it's so much easier to solder to, but I don't see any other threads on this.

Anyone have a photo of this alt D0 point? Official site only shows the small point.
