X-S Enthusiast Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 16-September 04 Member No.: 147760	I recently purchased this system. http://www.sell.com/2NCZF It has these dashboards currently installed: UnleashX, EvoX and MXM. I'm wanting to use my Xbox for web browsing and running some windows based apps, as well as games. I am under the impression that I can install a program such as Wine and run Windows apps through Linux. Is my best route to just do the traditional Linux soft mod or is there an easier route? I was thinking that the system can already read burnt cd's so I was wondering if burning the Linux image onto cd or dvd would be easier. Let me know if ya'll have any suggestions.

I don't want to make my system unable to run games. I don't want it as a sole PC either. But I've read that with the soft mod Linux install, you can still play all your games. Let me know if i'm right.
