I have a question about installing (wire method) a X2 Pro on v1.4 xbox. Is it possible to fill the necessary lpc holes with solder, after they cool off, remelt them and slowy slide the tinned wires in, then let them cool off again? Also if possible do I need to turn over the motherboard to do this?

What D0 point do you recommend, the one on top or the one on the bottom?
I'm a noob

thanks in advance

From an electronic standpoint, it is indeed possible to remelt solder and just slide the wires in. Although, keep in mind this method is not ideal, since remelting solder can create a cold solder joint. If possible, you only want to melt solder once. Another way would be to add a little more solder to the wire, and just use that to solder it to the board.

Hope that helps!
