Xecuter 2.6 Chip Fitted, burnout 3 Options

hi just fitted a xecuter 2.6 modchip for a friend chip working great but friend just told me he cannot save his game on burnout 3 (Original game with chip activated or deactivated, Or with original game installed to hard drive or runnning from dvd rom original disk. i used an xdixk install disk 0.92 i think it has a 120 gig drive fitted and the main partition (biggest is F not E)? And hard drive is lock so it boot up fine chipped or unchipped Any ideas?????? thx Barry.
