Can I take a game I burned to my xbox's harddrive with dvd2xbox, transfer that file to my pc and burn it to cd and run the game from cd?

Yep that would work, but you would need a program such as Craxtion to make an iso from the files you pull off your xbox, you would then burn the iso file.

and the game would have to be less than 700MB to fit on a cd. (I know of only 2---Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded, Metal Slug 3)

^^ yeah true true, also I think Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is only 300 megs. I didn't notice he said cd...

surprising enough,there's quite a few 700meg and under games for the xbox.....kinda a waste if you ask me.

I meant on a dvd-r not a cd-r sorry.

What do I need to do to give an xbox a software mod? And will it work for the halo brand xbox's?
