grr.gif Hey everyone i just cleared out the jewel on my xbox with Maxima Contact Brake Cleaner that i use for my dirtbikes. I read a thread saying that it worked good. so i gave it a try. It worked real good, so good that all of the silver lettering was gone after i rubbed it all out. What would look good to put in the lettering to make it look decent. any suggestions would help.

you could get some silver apint and put it in then when all dry sand the spill parts off or use something else and touch it up with paint thinner OR put UV reactive stuff in and have some uv light under it, that would be pretty badass too see, IN FACT I might just go try that.

I think if you have a two-color theme, light your jewel the color that its supposed to be and make the xbox text the oppostie color.

For example, if you have a red and blue theme, do your jewel mod red and make the silver lettering blue.

Dude too many pics in sig. If you don't fix it, a mod will do it for you and leave you a smart message.

I think doing that would look like your sig.

Cheap and dumb.

What I would do is put clear packing tap accross the letters. Then, (It would take some time) cut out the small peices of tape around the lettering and spray paint away. If you take your time it should come out ok.
