I have successfully installed an Xecuter 2.3 lite on my xbox with a 120 gig hdd. My brother would like me to now install one on his xbox. I was looking at the Xecuter 2.6 and think it is the way to go. It looks simple enough to install, most of the same soldering points as the 2.3 lite, and it doesnt even have the USB addon that the 2.3 had (right?). Anyways I was wondering if someone could verify that my bios version and Slayers version will be compatible with the 2.6. I have Evox M7 bios and Slayers 2.5. Will this work? Thanks

what's his mfg date if its after feb. of this year it may be a 1.6 and if it's that you'll have to use evox m8 bios 1.6 version..dashwise slayers 2.6 came out I think

Wait-are you saying his xbox may be a version 1.6, if that is what you are saying, it is a 1.0, im positive.

Sorry not Tuts from me, i took the pussy's way out and just used Xapter on v1.1.

Greenbolt to answer your question, you will need to look in the "usual places" ie: xbins, do a search for xbins, there is a tutorial.
