i installed a xbit modchip, and my hardrive i think has died, can i buy another drive off ebay (retail) get the person i am buying it off to unlock it, will it work in my xbox, i have no backup of my original drive as i lost the drive on the pc that had the backup, not having great amount of luck with hardrives? any help would be helpfull.

Xbox Version: v1.4
All HDs you buy are made unlocked. Just format the new HD, and it'll partion it. Then you can put it in your modded Xbox, lock it, that's all. An evoX HD exchange disk would be nice. It's helped me a while ago while I first started modding.
