Xbox Version: v1.6d
360 version: v5.0 (360S - trinity)
I have a v 1.0 xbox
2.3 lite with the wire install not the pin header
everything appears to function properly but
when the mod chip is ON the led stays red
when its off the LED is green

so far everything plays fine but why is the LED red wih the mod chip?

I flashed the mod using slayer's evox 2.6 5838 is the kernel I did a full retail rebuild and the box funs fine, it plays dvd's in the region free dvd player
the mobo is currently at about 105 and the cpu is holding steady at 115 which is warm but not unusual for a celeron

just wondering if anybody else had seen this, I have even taken the same chip and put in another xbox 1.0 and same red led was wondering what was causing it and if I should worry.

Probably just a cloned chip you got and they manufactured it not well and had the legs on the led in the wrong spot, if its workin dont worry about it
