Hi.

I'm just finished installing a chip (Aladdin Advance 64+) on a v 1.6 for the first time. And before i installed it, i flashed the chip in an older version with the M8_1.6 bios. When i boot normally with the chip off, everything works fine, but when i boot with the chip on, that green thingy is not there anymore. Just the Blue X logo and Evox logo in upper left corner. This is not really a problem, the xbox works fine. but is this normal?

That means you installed the chip correctly. You just need a new dashboard now. But you can now play bunrned backups with the chip On.

Ok. The eject led is red when i boot with chip enabled. That never happend to the older versions i installed chip's to. Is this also the Bios`? and i guess this is normal too then, or what?

No, it workes as hell. i cloned my own harddrive, backups n'stuff works fine. the red colour was just anoying as hell. but it's not my box, so i realy don't care. Thanx ModdingManiac.
