Problem With Skin Install Options

What's going on I've done everything new modchip x2.6 lite evox dash and the new hdd all i need know is help with using different skin I downloaded a few and ftp it to my xbox but i have no menu stating where my skins are. Do I have to change my menu.ini for evox.
