Font Hack Problem, followed this tutorial Options

I also looked at the other checklists, unfortunately I don't know for sure which hack I am doing. I assume it's just the font hack.

I am doing this remotely, but this is what my brother says the xbox is doing

1)it goes through flubber animation
2)then it shows the xbox logo,
3)after a few seconds, the word MS goes under it,
4)then it tries to go to the xbox menu but goes back to the xbox logo and does from 2-4 over and over again

I tried the bert is cheating on ernie, and the bert and ernie reloaded. Both I tried just in the C:\ Drive, although there is a fonts folder, but both directories had the fonts in them.
It is probably something to do with my versions, but I don't know how to check them. Anyone have any suggestions??

I see that you are trying to install exploit using game save. anyway, if all you care is to install the exploit, go to xbins@efnet and go to xbox =>OS or system (forgot what it called) and linux =>.... ITOOL. Download Itool. it will walk you thru/install the exploit for you. I'm not sure if the UXE version of ITool is on xbins but if you are in ntsc region, ude2 is fine. make sure you backup your eeprom and download it to your computer hd and burn it to a cd or safe keeping so if anything go wrong with your hd, you can rebuild it.

btw, don't use the font exploit you mention because it is outdated and have clock loop problem like you described

Will this allow me to boot straight to evox?

yes, with ude/ude2/uxe, your xbox will boot straight to evox. however, if your xbox is new and PAL you need to use uxe because it works with all xbox right now.. anyway, look at those exploit for info or just use UXE because it is the most compatible/universal right now.
