yeh thats a momentary push butoon, so thats fine.
go back and check all of the soldering and wiring, and dont solder to one of the top two points like emc said. try just taping the yellow wire to the bottom right point on the power board, just to see if it works that way.

i find it alot easier to solder it to one of the yellow wires that is going into the mobo from the switch. all i had to do was melt sum of the wire with a soldering gun, that way u can still take off ur front panel easily, i think its the bottom left hand wire, if your looking at the xbox from the front top view. You might wana double check on that one.

edit: in the time it took me to type this somebody posted a picture of the wireing use that

emc. SHUT UP. i have done this mod uncountable times before aswell. i solder to the bottom right point of the set of four points are where the power button is on the pcb. i dont solder to the line second of them the line of points.

in your pic you can see four points on the bottom of the pcb, i solder to the bottom right one, and have done numerous times, so stop saying your way is the only way. theres other ways than yours.

idiot

if at first u dont succeed try try again lol, my way isnt the only way either but i think its the best cuz its the easiest to access the front panel without having to desolder the wire and stuff, i guess its personal preference

Is your momentary switch a normally open or normally closed? It needs to be normally open. And I bet thats what the problem is. So both EMC and Eminevil shut up cuz i got you both owned... wink.gif
