I have used apple chips for some time now. But this V is give me a problem, when i hit eject to change the game it hangs up. I have to power it off then back on. I flashed the chip with the latest Xecuter 4983.67. It still did not fix this problem. Can someone help me out with this? Thankz

Why would you flash the chip in the first place? It sounds like you either got a bad chip or a bad soldering job. I'd vote to inspect the soldering job first.

With stock BIOS, I run a 250 GB drive, IGR, and have never had a single problem with any game. Though I have never used any other BIOS, I have never had a single problem. I've read 1000s of posts from others with problems who have to flash from one mediocre BIOS to another to try to fix their problems. Though I have no other experience to back it up (aside from 4 buddies with problem-free AppleX V chips) I'd say the AppleX V BIOS is the best out there. And for $20, it's the best chip. The only thing it lacks is multiple spots for BIOS. But, if you have one good one in your chip, you don't need to store 4 crappy ones.
